What is Texativa?
Texativa is a Houston-based organization that champions the cannabis industry. We work hard to keep the people of Texas informed on all issues surrounding cannabis. It’s no secret that Texas has been a notoriously conservative state for decades, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have thriving medical and recreational cannabis industries. We not only need these for the welfare and enjoyment of our citizens, but also the economic benefits they bring.
After spending years talking to Texans from all over about cannabis and their thoughts on legalization, we’ve learned a few things. We found that various levels of legalization are popular with Texans of all ages and political backgrounds. That’s excellent news! At Texativa, we believe both sides of the political spectrum have more in common on the issue than not. That’s why we work hard to cater to all Texans and encourage open and honest communication.
At Texativa, we find that the best way to combat the undeserved stigma that cannabis has received is with diverse perspectives. That’s why we have blog contributors from young adults to senior citizens from all walks of life. We bring you everything from important legislative updates to new industry trends and strain reviews to make sure you’re getting the information important to you. Unfortunately, there is a ton of misinformation about cannabis right now. We aim to fix that.
